We are adding technicians in your market to ensure all field assignments are being fulfilled on-time. This position is remote and your direct manager will be remote. The primary focus for this role will be performing field-based assignments, in addition, you will also be completing home-based trainings and conference calls, scheduling offered assignments, and communicating directly with the District Field Manager through availability, phone calls, text messages, and e-mails to ensure market coverage needs are met during our high-rate of growth. SUMMARY:

The Order Management Specialist interacts with Program management, Client Advocate, Scheduling, Retail sales management and shipping.  This is to either solicit or provide information needed for order execution including purchase order, store lists, tracking information and invoicing requirements.  Assigned support per Program Manager to help align needs across internal teams.

  • The SC must be able to schedule field activity in the most profitable and efficient manner, meeting all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) while working closely with field technicians and field management. This includes analyzing maps and optimizing routes for technicians.
  • SC will be handed information and must be able to make decisions to action them appropriately with minimal guidance. The SC must be able to learn new systems, tools and processes quickly and be flexible as processes and procedures evolve, to meet changing and growing demands.
  • Build relationships with the field technicians, and field management to achieve common goals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming/outgoing telephone calls and emails in a call center environment
  • Evaluate Field Technician locations and determine optimal technician and timing to complete field work Provides effective support to Field Technicians throughout the world
  • Combine field work needs from multiple sources and dispatch technician in most cost effective manner
  • Data gathering and auditing to help determine where staff is low in numbers. Communicate to Field Management where hiring needs to take place.
  • Communicating with Customer Service, Sales, and Field Teams
  • This individual may also be assigned additional special tasks at the discretion of the Service Supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience required, preferably in a high volume call center environment
  • Shows a passion for and is consistent in servicing internal and external customers
  • Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • Capable of learning MTI’s products, processes and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task a must
  • Ability to interact and interface effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Previous experience in a factory, distribution or retail environment a plus
  • Experience in the electronics industry strongly preferred
  • High energy, motivated individuals who enjoy speaking on the phone and who are comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment will succeed at MTI!

Summary:

The Accounting Operations Manager will manage, develop, and provide leadership for both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Operations Teams at MTI.   This is a “hands on” management role that requires the incumbent to dive in and work through the existing process, observe, and develop solutions to improve the processes.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide leadership, regular performance feedback and develop skills of team members to maximize potential to achieve department, company and individual goals.
  • Manage team workflow to pay vendors accurately and timely.
  • Manage team workflow to invoice customers, collect cash and apply payments in a timely manner.
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial transactions within the ERP system to support workflow and ensure accurate accounting records in accordance with US GAAP and Corporate policy.
  • Understand & support revenue recognition rules per GAAP.
  • Streamline Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiencies and ensure integrity of general ledger transactions. Focus on solutions that are scalable as the business grows.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation that supports workflow.
  • Establish & maintain cross training schedule to develop team member skills and allow work to be completed during absences.
  • Serve as contact for managing relationships with high touch vendors and customers and non-routine transactions. This includes reconciling specific customer accounts and payments to these vendors.
  • Build solid cross-functional team relationships with Purchasing, Engineering and Sales Operations to streamline processes and work efficiently.
  • Manage annual reporting of vendor 1099’s and foreign vendor W-8’s.
  • Support audit and bank exam requests as needed.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • Demonstrated passion for and expertise in the accounting function, activities and processes.
  • 10+ years Accounting Operations, General Ledger or Internal Audit experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or retail distribution environment with inventory purchases and international vendors preferred.
  • 5+ years’ management experience with proven experience developing and managing high performance teams.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and functions).
  • Strong working knowledge of general accounting, monthly close processes, and GAAP concepts.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls and account reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and streamline business processes, including automating processes.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build business partnerships with Customers, Vendors and team members within the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
