About the Job:

The Field Scheduling Specialist exists as a key contributor within MTI Operations to ensure operating efficiencies. Job Overview:

  • Field Scheduling Specialists (FSS) will be responsible for dispatching field technicians globally into retail environments to audit, repair, train and/or install technology at varying degrees of technical
  • The FSS must be able to schedule field activity in the most profitable and efficient manner, meeting all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) while working closely with field technicians and field This includes analyzing maps and optimizing routes for technicians.

Summary

PURPOSE

Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facility.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.

  • Unpack and verify goods received against purchase orders, RMA’s, or invoices of received goods and communicate any non-conformances
  • Prepare and maintain records of cycle counting, receiving, RMA’s, and shipments
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing floor
  • Perform daily cycle counts and variance reconciliation
  • Picking, kitting and delivery of inventory items from work order pick lists for assembly teams
  • Stock newly received materials and parts into inventory locations per FIFO rules
  • Generate Picklists, Pack lists, Commercial Invoices for shipments
  • Physically pick, pack, and label items for shipment with high degree of accuracy
  • Intermediate level of training other material handlers
  • Make recommendations for process and procedure changes required to improve overall efficiency
  • Other duties or projects as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum of 3 years successful experience as a material handler, shipping clerk or similar role
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience and with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate proficient technical knowledge to perform Shipping, Receiving or Inventory Control daily tasks
  • Demonstrate intermediate ERP/MRP skills
  • Must consistently communicate in effective and proactive manner across departments
  • Must be able to efficiently and accurately perform data entry and pay attention to details
  • Demonstrate strong work habits of cooperation, time management, and work well under stress
  • Must be flexible and be able to consistently adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and dependability
  • Must perform basic math and record keeping on a daily basis
  • Must be able to be forklift certified and be able to operate safely
  • Must be able to read and follow operational and safety procedures in English

Summary:

The Customer Care – Contact Center Technician’s role exists to ensure customer satisfaction and act as the primary customer contact for the MTI. This position provides high-touch, personalized customer support to both internal and external partners and continually strives to exceed customer expectations regarding response time, product knowledge, effective problem resolution, stellar service and overall MTI operational knowledge. The Contact Center Technician drives the customer experience within MTI to ensure that our client and customer’s needs are not only met but exceeded. This individual may also be assigned additional special tasks at the discretion of the Service Supervisor. MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shows passion for and delivers exceptional customer service
  • Providing technical support for all MTI products as well as retail interactive displays
  • Answers incoming telephone calls and emails in a call center environment keeping a “customer first” mentality from call engagement until call conclusion
  • Collects call data and manages to performance metrics
  • Provides effective support to Field Technicians throughout the world
  • Data gathering and auditing

Education and/or Experience:

  • MUST be able to speak/read/write in English fluently
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience required, preferably in a high volume call center environment
  • Shows a passion for and is consistent in servicing internal and external customers
  • Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel / Smartsheet
  • Capable of learning MTI’s products, processes and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, a must
  • Ability to interact and interface effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Prior experience in order processing and RMA (Return Materials Authorization) a definite plus
  • Previous experience with ERP / MRP system preferred
  • Previous experience in a factory, distribution or retail environment, a plus
  • Experience in the electronics industry strongly preferred
